VAT - we've been driven over the VAT threshold and have to start adding VAT to courses from May 1st onwards. We are going drop our prices to make the price rise slightly less painful but as of 01/05/23 courses will cost £104 inc VAT Student tickets will be £76 inc VAT
To book please pay the full fee on registration either by using the paypal button when you register or with the "offline" payment option using a booking reference "Course / Date / SURNAME NAME YOU BOOKED WITH" (apologies for bold shouty language but we have a lot of trouble with married names/maiden names/husbands/wifes/accounts etc)!.
Please don't use a .NHS email address - The NHS are quite rightly fearful of attacks on their system and routinely block external emails containing links and attachments. In both cases you will get a paid invoice from the booking system - if it's not in your inbox check your spam files - and be warned - if you use an NHS address it won't even reach your spam files!
Paypal Payments - Paypal will charge us 3 quid for the privilege of using their service for a bank transfer so we would really prefer payment by Bank Transfer
Student Midwives please note: to pay the student rate (£70) when booking enter your occupation as "student midwife" - select ther "offline payment" option to do this. This discount is specifically for student midwives but if you are feeling the pinch - - email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - we are reasonably sympathetic most of the time.
Please be aware that your registration is not confirmed until we receive payment and we reserve the right to deregister you if you register but don't pay.
This advanced course is for birth workers who have already attended Molly's biomechanics course and have recorded at least three case studies of biomechanics in action (antenatal or intrapartum) - These case studies will be an element of the interactive part of the day
It offers a a more in depth understanding of biomechanics and the physiology of birth including the role of psoas muscles and myofascia, more techniques and positions to relieve dystocia, working with epidurals, a discussion of common midwifery and medical practices that can hinder the birth process, brainstorming "making it mainstream", case studies, and pathways to research and much more.
